Programa Becas "Jóvenes Talentos"

Discover our "Young Talents" Scholarship Program

At Aguas de Alicante, we seek to facilitate access to university for brilliant young people, regardless of their financial resources. That is why we are launching the "Young Talents" Scholarship program, aimed at promoting university access for young people with high academic performance and a challenging economic and/or social environment that makes it difficult or impossible for them to attend university.

The "Young Talents" Scholarship Program aims to promote equal opportunities and the development of talent in a more equitable and sustainable society.

The "Young Talents" Scholarships offer:

  • Financial aid that covers 100% of the annual tuition fees and related charges not covered by the scholarship requested from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for undergraduate university studies.
  • The coverage of direct expenses related to the study up to a maximum limit of €1,500 for each course.
  • Individual pedagogical, psychosocial, and group support among all scholarship recipients of the Jóvenes Talentos program, with the aim of enhancing motivational and competency development.

To be eligible for the “Young Talents” Scholarship aid, the following requirements must be met:

  • Students in the final year of vocational training cycles or high school, who are enrolling for the first time in university degree studies, preferably in STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).
  • Their average grades in high school or vocational training cycles must be higher than 8.5 out of 10 (The Organization reserves the right to lower this grade requirement if no candidates qualify).
  • They must reside in the municipalities where Aguas de Alicante provides its services: Alicante, San Vicente del Raspeig, Sant Joan d’Alacant, El Campello, Petrer, or Monforte del Cid.
  • They must apply for admission to the University of Alicante.
  • They must have completed the application process for the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports Scholarship for undergraduate study for the 24-25 academic year.
  • They must be holders of a bank account.
