Adaptation and improvements in the surroundings of the EBAR El Plá. Alicante

Aguas de Alicante is remodelling and improving the current Plá pumping station, building a new pumping station attached to the existing one, with the following objectives:

• To increase the pumping capacity of the current pumping station.
• Improve the reliability of the system in the event of failures at the El Plá pumping station.
• Improve the operation of the current pumping system, facilitating its maintenance and conservation.
• To reduce the spillage into the receiving environment due to failures at the Plá WWTP or in the event of rainfall events.

The works have an estimated timeframe of 8 months. A part of the parking spaces located between Doctor Sapena, Padre Esplá streets and Denia Avenue will be affected.
