Aguas de Alicante is committed to environmental education and the promotion of water culture among the youngest ages. That is why, through our educational program Aqualogía, we bring the urban water cycle closer to primary school students.

What is Aqualogía?
Aqualogía is the educational water program for primary school students.
With the help of the characters from Aqualogía, you will be able to delve into the knowledge of water in your city through digital and interactive educational resources.
Aqualogía presents water from a perspective in line with the challenges and opportunities of the present and future world: intelligent, healthy, and sustainable. Through videos, games, and experiments, you can work in class on how we use water at school, how water reaches our homes, or what treatments we must carry out to be able to drink it or to return it properly to the natural environment.

Educational objectives of Aqualogía
- Raise awareness among schoolchildren about the importance of water and the environment.
- Bring schoolchildren closer to understanding the natural and urban water cycles.
- Enhance student participation and interaction through the use of new technologies.
- Provide teachers with a teaching tool adapted to the curriculum of each educational level.

What is an Aqualogy session like?
The 75 minutes of the activity are structured as follows:
- Interactive story, for detecting prior knowledge. (15 minutes)
- Digital game, for introducing and structuring content. (25 minutes)
- Experimentation with water, for structuring and applying content. (25 minutes)
- Evaluation. (10 minutes)
Aqualogía can be delivered in person by environmental monitors at educational centers during school hours in the mornings, from Monday to Friday.

These sessions can also be carried out in the AQUALOGÍA 2.0 version, a platform that provides access to the same educational resources in its online format. AQUALOGÍA 2.0 is an Environmental Education platform where you can access interactive content about water and environmental care for a month.
